A Difficult Week

The shock and sadness of Monday continues to affect us as we grieve for those who were slain at Virginia Tech. We cannot understand why an event like this happens, therefore, we are left with a sense of helplessness, and we are very uncomfortable. Healing will take time.

The first campout of the season for the Old Dominion Cardinals Chapter of VA Good Sams begins tomorrow at Cozy Acres in Powatan, VA. We will leave in early afternoon for what should be about a one and a half hour trip.

Something New

We learned about blogs from Chris and Jim Guld at the FMCA Convention in Perry, GA in March. Chris and Jim gave a seminar titled "Every RVer Needs a Blog". They provided a handout that is a step-by-step guide to setting up a blog, so here we are blogging. We plan to use this communication means while traveling and also during travel preparation times. We'll experiment and see whether we are successful.
